Larkana Police intensify operation; several criminals captured

LARKANA: As part of the ongoing drive against criminals, Larkana police on Saturday claimed that one most wanted criminal had surrendered before them, while several others were captured including Deadar Khuhro, Abdul Rasool Chandio, Ali Hassan Jatoi, Jumo Jatoi and Peero Chandio.

According to details, Larkana police launched massive raids in different areas of the districton the directions of SSP Umar Tufail. Owing to the crackdown, a notorious criminal – Najoo Khakhrani – surrendered before police along with a shot gun. He was wanted by police in more than 20 heinous cases.

The police also launched a grand operation in the katcha area of Aaqil Patan within the limits of PS Aqil close to the bed of River Indus, which is stretched to approximately 30km.

During the operation, police bulldozed all hideouts of criminals and arrested five most wanted outlaws, who were involved in cases related to kidnapping for ransom, robbery, street crime and police encounters.

Weapons have been recovered from their captivity, police claimed, adding that operation against miscreants would continue till the arrest of last criminal.
