Hold me in contempt

Author: Haider Rifaat

I imagine myself bare in your thoughts,

Maybe it is true, don’t regress now

As dusk dawns, and darkness falls,

Body says, I confess it all,

You question my intent,

Your thoughts on repeat,

Is this happening? How could this be?

A tingle down your spine, you know it is right,

Desires fulfilled, they rise in plight,

Sultry sweat and raging scent,

Think again,

Could you hold me in contempt?
