Sir: Only a few weeks ago, Reham Khan was telling anyone and everyone who would listen that her book was being taken out of context. She said that some of the stuff that was being circulating wasn’t even written by her. At one point, she even went on to say that perhaps there was no book at all.

And now she has released it for a meagre amount online, herself. What causes her to behave in the way that she does? What makes her do the things that she does? These are questions that I often think about whenever I see her doing something bizarre — just as I think it now that her book has finally been released.

I feel like Reham Khan is constantly trying to find ways to stay in the spotlight. No matter what she does, she creates a storm. And this book comes at a time when finally discussions about what she had written had entirely died down.

Ever since she found her way into Imran Khan’s narrative, she has not let any opportunity to shine go. At times I have even felt that the only reason she was kicked out of Khan’s life was because she was becoming larger than his life itself.

In many ways, I feel that she is a very smart woman since she seems to know exactly what she is doing. If anything, the original storm that resulted from gossip about her book will only help its sales now.

This woman is not one that should be taken lightly. At every point that she’s faced adversity and at every turn that she has been shunned, this woman has found a way to return stronger. You can hate her, but I suspect that we must respect her for she has become a force too strong for us to simply shun away without a thought.

Even as people are adding more labels to her name, she is figuring out ways to stay relevant in recent times. Is it not a great feat that she has managed to pique the interest of people even as Nawaz Sharif is being dragged to jail, and hundreds are dying in pre-election terrorism.

The reality is that we may curse her anyway we like, but Reham is proving to be a force to reckon with. And she is one that we should stop taking so lightly.

They say that no publicity is bad publicity and it seems like Reham is the only person who has understand completely how she should be cashing in on whatever good, bad or ugly comes her way.

Time will only tell what she will do next, but one thing that I think we all know for certain is that no matter what she does, the entire country will be washing. And no matter how much we pretend that we do not care, we will be glued to every move she makes.
