DADU: In order to improve the literacy rate, the Sindh government should implement 18th amendment’s article A 25 regarding free education for children and adolescents aged 5-19 years.
This was stated by Ex-Education Minister Sindh, Pir Mazharul Haque while he was addressing the Annual 4th Award Ceremony 2017 as Chief Guest, held in Government Ustad Bukhari Degree College Dadu.
Haque further said that the incident of the death of a student, Naila Rind was very sad. He said that after that incident at Sindh University Jamshoro the parents of female students were reluctant to send their children to the university.
The ceremony was attended by different college teachers, students, civil society leaders and citizens. Students of Government Usatd bukhari Degree College Dadu performed Tableau blast, Tableau marriage, welcome speech, committee news, different Tableaus and dance. Professor Airfan kalahoro, Professor Mumtaz Qumbrani, Professor Dr Aftab Charan, Professor Kazi sikanda and Professor Imtaiz Mangi also addressed the ceremony.
