Five UC chairmen quit PML-N, join PTI ahead of elections

GUJRANWALA: Five union council (UC) chairmen on Friday abandoned PML-N and announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Gujranwala.

Reportedly, UC chairmen including Sabir Mehmood Ali Butt, Mian Sohail Riaz, Javed Mehar, Rana Babar, Tariq Gujjar and vice chairman Malik Waseem held a joint press conference with PTI candidate for NA-81 Ali Ashraf Mughal to declare their decision.

They pledged to support PTI in the upcoming general election.
