Sonam Kapoor is ‘dying’ to come to Pakistan

Celebrities often become victims of cyber-bullying. Some respond to hared with more hatred while others are tolerant enough to ignore the trolls and speak their mind or deal with them in a humble manner.

Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja found herself in such a situation recently. In a new feature rolled out by Instagram that allows users to be virtually-interviewed by their followers, Sonam received a ton of queries. One of the questions that she was asked read, “Do you love Muslims?” Lovingly, Sonam replied, “I love people of all faiths and beliefs. That’s what Hinduism preaches.”

The Veere Di Wedding actor was also asked if she loves her Pakistani followers, to which she said, “I love Pakistan. I’m dying to come there and hang out.”

Apart from questions pertaining to religion and nationalism, Sonam was also lauded for her stance on supporting equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community. One fan asked, “You’re such a strong LGBTQ icon. Where do you find the strength and courage?” Graciously addressing the well-thought query, Sonam replied, “Telling the truth and standing by it doesn’t require strength – just conviction.” We can’t help but praise the Bollywood beauty for saying all the right things!
