Petition has been filed by a citizen Suleman Shahid. The ministry of IT, DG FIA and chairman PTA have been made respondents in this petition. The petitioner prayed the court to direct the concerned quarters to block all blasphemous pages on the social media besides taking action against those who have developed these blasphemous pages. The interior minister be also directed not to influence the investigations against the persons found responsible. It is worth mentioning that one blogger Sammar Abbas is still missing while the remaining bloggers have reached homes. However no blogger has given any statement about how they disappeared.
