The former champions of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Peshawar Zalmi and Zalmi Foundation has introduced their third league entitled as ‘Zalmi Madressah League’ for Madressah students on Thursday.
Zalmi foundation signed a Memorendum of Understanding (MoU) between the World Council of Religions in order to promote peace and religious harmony among the students.
Mr. Javed Afridi,the chairman of Zalmi group, made an announcement along with Maulana Muhammad Yaseen Zafar, Secretary-General Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Salfia, Hafiz Muhammad Nauman Hamid, Executive Director – WCR Pakistan, Father Nadeem Francis and Sardar Kalyan Singh of Sikh community were also present during the ceremony.
A total of 10 teams will be participating in the league and it will begin in August in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. After its 1st phase, the league will spread in the other provinces as well.

Zalmi Foundation will also be responsible for planning the activities and providing budget for the league to make it successful. The official Logo and the kit were also released during the press conference.
