PM Nasir-ul-Mulk in Peshawar to review security

PESHAWAR: Prime minister Justice (R) Nasir-ul-Mulk visited Peshawar today and held meetings with governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and caretaker chief minister Justice (R) Dost Muhammad Khan. Interior minister Azam Khan also accompanied the prime minister.

The prime minister was briefed about security measures being taken by the provincial government in the wake of the recent terrorist incident at Peshawar.

The premier expressed concern over the loss of precious lives and directed to make fool proof security arrangements for contesting candidates particularly the top leadership.

Later, the prime minister visited Bilour House and offered condolences with the family of Shaheed Haroon Bilour. Governor Punjab Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana, governor KP and caretaker chief minister KP accompanied the prime minister. Former senator Ilyas Bilour and former federal minister Ghulam Bilour received the prime minister at Bilour House.
