He lamented that every institution was desirous of making the constitution subservient to it and it was the root cause of problems facing the country. He advised the political parties to participate in elections on the basis of service to the nation and their manifestos.

Moosavi also announced a 16-point charter of demand advising the Maktab-e-Tashih to support those parties that would fulfil those demands.
