Chief Minister Complaint Cell to undergo upgradation

Information Minister Ahmed Waqas Riaz has said that on the directions of Acting Chief Minister of Punjab, the working of Chief Minister Complaint Cell would be more activated and upgraded so that the problems of the masses could be resolved at the earliest.

He said that this cell, operating from Club Road, was already catering to a large number of complaints every day.

Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Dr Hassan Askari has directed to take more stern and immediate action against such persons negligent in performing their official duties so that people’s problems could be addressed. He said that complaints against police, administration and other departments are registered with the Chief Minister Complaint Cell and all the departments should remain vigilant as no negligence would be tolerated by the government.

Ahmed Waqas Riaz said that special instructions, in this regard, have been issued from Chief Minister House to the concerned authorities that Complaint Cell should be given due importance. He said that as per rules and regulations, all departments should ensure to perform their duties while people may contact Chief Minister Complaint Cell if anything goes wrong in this regard.
