Two girls slip into Chenab River while taking selfies

GUJRANWALA: Two teenage girls ‘accidently’ slipped into deep water while taking selfies on the riverbank of Chenab.

According to sources, the passersby rushed to the spot and managed to rescue one of them.

An operation was launched by Rescue 1122 team to recover her body.

The girls were residents of Mian Channu, a city of Khanewal district in Punjab, and had arrived in Gujranwala to attend a relative’s wedding ceremony.
