The injured were identified as Abid, Farhan, Rizwan, Abdul, Riaz and others. The cylinder blast incident occurred at a barber shop when several persons including children were present in Kare Village. The heavy blast sound created panic and terror among the locals and its surrounding areas. A number of passersby and other locals of the area reached the spot after being informed about the incident.
Upon being informed, the police, rescue teams and other concerned departments reached the spot and immediately began the rescue operation. According to rescuers, all the injured persons were shifted to a nearby hospital where their condition was said to be out of danger. Duty doctors of the hospital said that at least eight injured patients were under treatment in emergency wards where their condition was said to be stable.
