LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz on Saturday claimed that she had continuously recieved messages that she will pay a heavy price for the path she had chosen to tread.
Maryam took it to twitter, posting a video message stating that during the Avenfield reference proceedings she was time and again reminded that an example out of her will be made for challenging ‘Khalai Makhlooq”.
PML-N leader claimed that she was targeted with the same mindset and that the supplementary corruption references were merely a way to make her pay the price for what she stood for.
Maryam in her video said that her father, Nawaz Sharif the ousted premier was conveyed the message to leave the country along with her daughter.
Similarly, she added that she was told that she will be held for her speeches and doings.
Earlier on Friday accountability court announced 10 years imprisonment to Nawaz and 7 years to Maryam respectively in Avenfield reference verdict.
