Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader and daughter of former premier Nawaz Sharif Friday said that the accountability court verdict in the Avenfield reference case has emboldened the Sharif family’s resolve to fight against “invisible forces”.

“It wasn’t a big punishment for standing up to the invisible forces in the country, she tweeted minutes after she, her husband Captain (r) Safdar Nawaz and father Nawaz Sharif were found guilty and sentenced to prision.

“Nawaz Sharif, you didn’t get scared; you didn’t bow down; you preferred Pakistan on your personal life. The nation is standing with you. You will emerge victorious,” Maryam said in a series of Tweets. She said that the ousted premier would come back to Pakistan. “Nawaz Sharif is coming back. All efforts are being made to stop him will come to naught,” she added. She further said that Nawaz Sharif would address the nation soon.
