Karachi’s traffic woes

Author: Daily Times

Sir: This is to bring to your notice the traffic related problems we face on a daily basis in Karachi.

It seems that chaos is increasing on the streets of this city due to a lack of driving etiquette and damaged roads. Some main traffic signals are not working properly either. Some traffic signals are completely out of order and due to this accidents are increasing day by day. Most of the city’s main roads are damaged which leads to traffic jams. Traffic laws are not respected by anyone. Most buses, minibuses and coaches load themselves with passengers beyond their capacity. People can often be seen riding on the roofs of buses. The concerned authorities must take every action to resolve these issues.
