TTP head Mullah Umar Rehman allegedly killed in a drone strike in Afghanistan

Head of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and senior Commander Mullah Umar Rehman along with his companions killed on Tuesday in a drone strike.

According to the reports Mullah Umar, who was known as ‘Fateh’ (winner), was staying at Ahmed Swati’s house in Afghanistan when two American drone missiles hit the house and killed all of them.

On Wednesday, the Defence Ministry’s spokesperson from Kabul confirmed the news.

According to the residents of the area, Taliban came after the attack and took the dead bodies and injured with them.

TTP head Mullah Umar was the companion of late Mullah Fazlullah and the senior commander of Sawat group.
