ECP continues crackdown on parties’ violating code of conduct

The District Administration continued its crackdown on large size posters, steamers, portraits and billboards installed at diverse points of the provincial capital by candidates of different political parties and independent candidates.

According to details, the special enforcement teams have removed banners of former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif, Khawaja Ahmed Ahsan, Ghulam Murtaza, Ramzan Siddique Bhatti, Rana Javed Umar, Jamil Manj, Muhammad Afzal Khokhar, Haji Muhammad Nawaz and Rana Mubashar from Sundar Road, Mall Road, Canal Road, Sultanky, Lodhair and Bedian Road.

Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain (r) Anwarul Haq said that district administration is fully vigilant to implement the election code of conduct and action is being taken indiscriminately.
