PGMI principal cancels leaves during monsoon

Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Principal Professor Agha Shabeer Ali has ordered to cancel all kind of leaves during monsoon season and ensure a 100 percent presence in all the sections.

During visit to different sections of Lahore General Hospital (LGH), along with Medical Superintendent Dr Mahmood Salahuddin and Monitoring Director Dr Junaid Mirza, he said that attendance report should be sent to him on a daily basis and zero tolerance policy should be implemented in this regard.

PGMI Professor Agha Shabeer Ali also directed to ensure complete functioning of four disposal stations and keep the staff alert round the clock. He asked the sanitation staff to remain vigilant and observe cleanliness in the hospital at all costs so that patients and their attendants could be facilitated.

Professor Agha Shabeer Ali asked the PGMI Emergency Director who is also the Neuro Institute & Nursing Superintendent to remain available all the time in their departments and ensure that duties are being discharged in letter and spirit during this critical weather. He also directed the MS of LGH that sufficient quantity of medicine should be there in outdoor and emergency sections all the time and complaints should be filed.

Agha Shabeer Ali said that he himself would be monitoring the situation and arrangements of LGH during the monsoon spell.
