In all of this, it has been forgotten that these were record breaking rains. Never before has Lahore received 252 milliliters of rain in such a short timespan. Therefore, instead of using this disaster to score political points,our political leaders must take a serious stance on climate change. This is an enemy which cannot be negotiated with or defeated militarily. Action must be taken before it is too late.
