ISLAMABAD: The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar ordered on Wednesday for the country-wide verification of lawyers’ degrees from 2005 onwards.
While presiding over the session of the case regarding the verification of degrees, CJP observed that the verification process will take place at the additional registrar’s office.
Justice Nisar directed the bar associations of the country to cooperate with the top court on the matter.
The session was then adjourned till July 10.
Previously in May, the CJP took a sou motu notice for the verification of degrees of lawyers.
