LOS ANGELES: To star in one of the top movies of the year that gets nominated for the Oscar, does sound like a big deal and people would think that cast of such prestigious movies could gain access to Oscars easily but that isn’t the case. Reality is, ‘Big Bang Theory’ starrer Jim Parsons’ entry was almost denied at the Oscars.

According to sources, Jim has revealed to media that he wasn’t carrying any kind of photo identification for his entry into the Oscars, so he went back home to grab his wallet. Jim realised that he didn’t have any keys and was locked out of the house. Jim found himself in a very unfortunate situation, where more than half of the Hollywood was walking down the red carpet while Jim kept posting on his Instagram and ranting out about his plight.

“Locked out of house without ID which, apparently, you need to get into the Oscars. Waiting on someone to get here and let me in, off to an auspicious beginning!”, Jim wrote. He also added jokingly that he should have taught his dog how to open the doors and praised his suit designer, Isaia, in case he wouldn’t be able to do that in person on the red carpet.

It took him more than an hour and half of waiting to gain access into his home and he grabbed his ID. He rushed back to the ceremony, nearly reaching there on time. Jim’s unfortunate adventure came to an end and even though Jim’s movie Hidden Figures could not grab an Oscar, Parson managed to photobomb Meryl Streep and laugh off at the misfortune of events of the day.
