Three children drown, one rescued by local divers in Jacobabad

JACOBABAD: Two siblings drowned on Tuesday at Umeed Ali Junejo village in Gharhi Khairo subdivision of Jacobabad district.

Reportedly, eight-year-old Husnain and six-year-old Saima were taking bath in a pond located at the outskirts of their village when they drowned to death.

Consequently, local divers fished out their bodies after hours of efforts.

Meanwhile, two siblings including seven-year-old Aqisa and five-year-old Umar Magsi were taking bath in a pond at the outskirts of Kamal Magsi village in Kandhkot-Kashmore district of Sindh province.

The local divers were able to rescue Aqisa but Magsi died. After medico-legal formalities, deceased’s bodies were handed over to their heirs.
