THATTA: District Council Thatta on Tuesday unanimously passed the annual budget of Rs 191.1 million.
District Council Thatta met with their chairman Ghulam Qadir Palejo in chair and passed the annual budget unanimously. Forty members out of total 69 members attended the session.
Palejo said as many as Rs 70 million would be spend in the head of employees’ salaries and Rs 20 million more for non-development expenditures, leaving smaller funding for development work. He asked the government to give a special financial package for development projects of Thatta district.
