FC foils terror bid in Balochistan, recovers huge cache of arms

LORALAI: Frontier Corps (FC) and intelligence personnel foiled a major terror bid, as they recovered weapons and bombs during a raid at a militant hideout in Balochistan’s Loralai district on Tuesday.

According to FC spokesperson, suicide vests, rocket launchers, one anti-tank mines, anti-personnel mines, fuses, detonators, several rounds and other arms were recovered during raid inside a hut in Dakki area.

However, no arrests have been made during the action, as the extremists escaped from the scene before arrival of the security forces.

The force is conducting further raids to arrest the culprits, the officials added.
