LUDHIANA: A seven year old undergoing treatment in India passed away on Tuesday.

According to sources, 7 year old from Faisalabad Zainab had three holes in her heart and was undergoing treatment in an Indian hospital.

The deceased’s father said that the doctors at Faisalabad’s Institute of Cardiology had recommended that the case be taken India.

He added that as per the doctor’s recommendations, he had brought his daughter to Ludhiana where she went into surgery on Monday night.

The doctors had shifted Zainab to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after surgery, to be under observation for the next 24 hours as they were critical.

However, Zainab passed away at 4am.

Hospital authorities have handed the body to the parents, but the family seems to be facing issues in bringing the dead body back to Pakistan.

Zainab’s father in a video message blamed authorities forcing him to run to various pillars to obtain travel documents.

Deceased’s father has sought help from the Pakistani High Commission over the matter.
