‘Nawaz is relying on national security to save himself’

Author: Staff Report

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in order to save himself, is presently with the national security and by making elections doubtful, he wants to put the entire blame on the Army.

In a statement issued on Monday, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that leveling of false allegations on Inter Services Intelligence is also part of the conspiracy of Nawaz Sharif, despite clear clarifications by Rana Iqbal Siraj, Nawaz while sitting in London is repeating this allegation time and again.

He said that unfortunately Nawaz is also following in the steps of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Founder Altaf Hussain but “I may warn him that he should also keep the fate of Altaf Hussain in mind”.

Shujaat Hussain said that though the Pakistan Army is supervising electoral process at the request of the Election Commission of Pakistan, but it will be difficult for ensuring transparency of the election without removing the loyalists of Nawaz and former Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif present in the election machinery at district level. This thing will also have to be kept in mind that Nawaz and his followers are already planning to chant rigging after election and putting its allegation on the Army, this also has to be forestalled.
