Pre-election rigging continues

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Seven Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidates’ abandonment of the party on the final day of symbol allotment is further evidence of pre-poll rigging.

Such politicians are professional chameleons who change their political affiliation in chaotic times like elections simply to safeguard their own interests.

It is because such a culture has been tolerated and allowed to flourish that our political system is so corrupt today.

All political parties must take a stand here. It is the PML-N which is suffering today at the hands of these turncoats, but tomorrow it could be any other party. Unfortunately, it seems like short-sighted greed will prevail as always.
