Punjab Highway Patrol police arrests 141 criminals, recover drugs, stolen vehicles

The Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) arrested 141 criminals involved in various heinous crimes including 45 proclaimed offenders, four court absconders and recovered valuables, vehicles and drugs from them.

According to details, the criminals arrested by the patrolling police were Rashid, Akram, Mazhar, Jamshed, Nabeel, Naushad, Gull Zaman, Safdar Hussain, Hussain, Akhtar, Bashir Ahmad, Basharat, Ajmal Khan, Ameer Ahmad, Liaquat Ali, Asif, Sadi Ahmad, Adnan, Saeed, Akbar, Nauman, Zahoor, Shazia Bibi, Nadeem, Rasheed Ahmad, Rafaqat Hussain, Imran, Shakeel and Mubashir.

Similarly, PHP teams also arrested 50 culprits including Rizwan, Maqsood, Sadam Hussain, Saqib, Liaquat Ali, Ramzan, Mushtaq, Haider, Sajid, Ismail, Nawaz, Nisar, Naveed, Zubair, Yaqoob, Wajid Ali, Afzal, M Akhtar, Riaz Masih, Nadeem, Javed, Ehtisham, Zulfiqar, Sudher, Naeem, Ishfaq, Shahbaz, Sufiyan, Abid, Amir Masih, Manan, Rashid, Khurram, Rahman, Iftikhar, Riaz and Nawaz by taking into possession 409 litre liquor, 8,305 gramme charas and 140 gramme heroin.

Separately, the PHP teams also arrested 472 culprits namely Saifullah, Saqlain, Waleed, Ajmal, Akram, Riaz, Azam, Rashid, Raees, Salim, Razaq, Salim, Ahsan, Ashraf, Khalil, Jamshed, Riaz, Sadam Hussain, Mohsin, Farman Ali, Khalid, Asad Ali, Majeed, M Maqsood, Imran, Muhammad Ali, Iftikhar, M Nawaz, Mazhar, Iqbal and Moosa Khan on possession of illicit arms and recovered 30 pistols, a pump action, a Kalashnikov, three rifles, nine guns, 40 cartridges and 190 bullets from their possession.

The PHP team also reunited nine missing children with their families.
