LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique on Sunday challenged Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to contest against him for NA-131 constituency.

“The well-educated, sincere, and patriotic voter is with us. The people of the constituency will not vote for a political stranger,” claimed Rafique, challenging Khan for a battle.

While addressing a gathering in Lahore, the former minister said that the PTI had failed to gather even 200 people when it kicked of its election campaign in Mianwali and Islamabad.

While referring to his party, he said that those who defeated terrorism and lowered load-shedding will build dams as well. The PML-N leader hoped that the caretaker government will conduct free, fair and transparent election.

Imran Khan and Saad Rafique will face each other in NA-131 in general election 2018 to be held on July 25.
