Only the national govt can solve the problems of Pakistan: Chaudhry Shujaat

Author: Staff Report

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that he had stated three years back that the only solution to the problems of this country was the national government.

“Chaudhry Parvez Elahi had left Rs 100 billion in exchequer on relinquishing chief ministership whereas former CM Shahbaz Sharif has indebted it of Rs 1,500 billion. After destroying national economy and rendering Punjab bankrupt, Shahbaz Sharif is now supporting our demand for national government,” he said.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Shujaat Hussain further said that Sharif tried to present everything wrongly in a TV interview. Pre-seeing defeat of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) in the forthcoming elections, he has endorsed national government for his personal interest. Shujaat Hussain said that the game which PMLN has played with the economy of Pakistan in its last three weeks should be probed and the hands hidden behind record devaluation of Pakistani rupees in 70 years’ history should be given the strictest punishment.
