Graduation ceremony held at air war college

The graduation ceremony of No 31 Air War Course was held at Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air War College.

Governor Sindh Mohammad Zubair was the chief guest at the occasion. On his arrival, he was received by Air Vice Marshal Abrar Ahmed, Commandant Air War College. During the ceremony, Mohammad Zubair awarded “Fellow of Air War College (FAWC) certificates among the graduating officers.

Speaking at the occasion, Governor Sindh congratulated the graduating officers and hoped that this challenging course would serve as a stepping stone in their careers. He further said that the Pakistani nation was proud of its armed forces and their sacrifices rendered for the national defence.

Mohammad Zubair also commended the faculty of the Air War College for their consistent hard work and commitment to excellence.

Earlier during the ceremony, Air Commodore Fawad Zahir, Chief Instructor Air War College presented the course report.

Besides officers from Pakistan armed forces, thirteen officers from eleven allied countries including Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Zimbabwe also graduated at the occasion. The ceremony was attended by various high ranking civil and military officers and diplomats from different countries.

PAF Air War College is a premier institution of Pakistan Air Force, where mid level officers of Pakistan Armed Forces and friendly countries are prepared for assumption of key Command and Staff appointments.
