Tehsil Council demands launch of Daewoo Service from Dir

UPPER DIR: The tehsil council of Dir unanimously passed a resolution through which it demanded of starting the Daewoo Service from Dir. Muhammad Irshad presented the resolution regarding launch of the Daewoo service in Dir.

He said that he and his other fellows had talked about starting of Daewoo’s service from Dir with the Daewoo company’s authorities, adding that Dawoo managements had assured them that they will start its service when place available for Daewoo terminal in Dir.

The tehsil municipal officer, Badshah Zada, said that TMA will do full cooperation with Daewoo’s management if the management made any contact with them. The people of Upper Dir and Chitral have been demanding start of service of the Daewoo and other air conditioned vehicles from Dir.

The tehsil Dir summit was organised in the chair of acting convener Javid Khan on Tuesday in the TMA office in Dir.

Tehsil councilor from Jabar ward Habibul Haq criticized WAPDA for unannounced and brutal power outage from Chukiatan grade station in Upper Dir. He came hard on WAPDA and Chukiatan grade station authorities said that the Chukiatan had not fixed any scheduled for load shedding in the tehsil and especially in Usheri Dara.

He presented a resolution through which all the council members asked the Chukiatan grade station authorities to present scheduled of the load shedding in the tehsil. The tehsil also asked the WAPDA and Chukiatan grade station staff to stop unannounced and brutal load shedding immediately otherwise a call for demonstration against massive power outage in the Upper Dir.

Maroof Shah advocate, Habibul Haq, Abdullah and other councilors said that contractors did not do work in their respective councils and were making delay tactics in the ongoing projects due to which people are criticizing them which could not be tolerated.
