Girl shot dead in Jacobadad over ‘illicit relations’

JACOBABAD: A girl and her alleged lover were gunned down by uncle of the former over having illicit relations in village Keviro Jakhrani of Jacobabad on Saturday.

SHO Muhammad Juman Sario said that the accused Nadir Ali Jakhrani shot dead his niece, identified as 18-year-old Hoor Zadi, and her alleged lover, identified as Abdul Khalique, over the suspicion of having illicit relations. The accused fled after committing the crime.

Area police said that the bodies were transferred to Ghari Khairo Hospital, but due to non-availability of doctors, both the bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Jacobabad for postmortem and were later handed over to their families.

Neither an FIR was registered nor a killer was arrested till filling of this news story.
