KARACHI: After a light rain, the weather in the metropolis saw a surge in temperature on Friday, despite MET office’s forecast of heavy rain, the temperature went up to 37.8 degrees.

According to the reports, the recorded intensity of the rains on Friday and Thursday was low which caused the rise in temperature.

2 mm rain is recorded in Landhi and Jinnah terminal areas of the city.

The mild rain increased the humidity and citizens are praying for a better weather as it is getting hard to do routine work in such unpleasant weather.

The MET department has forecast a light rain in the city on Saturday as well.
