QUETTA: Four people, including three Frontier Corps (FC) personnel, were wounded in a bomb explosion in the Sariab Road on early Wednesday.
The bomb, planted on the roadside, targeted an FC vehicle while it was patrolling the city. The explosion partially damaged the vehicle. The bomb disposal squad said the blast was carried out with a remote-controlled device. All the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
Heavy contingents of police and rescue teams rushed to the scene and initiated a rescue operation. Traffic was suspended in the area following the incident and security was tightened across the city.
