Punjab CM, COAS discuss PSL final security arrangements

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif telephoned the Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa and discussed security arrangements regarding the Pakistan Super League(PSL) final planned to take place at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, sources confirmed.

The Army chief assured complete support for holding the much awaited final.

The Chief Minister said that it was their responsibility to rid the air of fear and insecurity.

COAS asked Punjab CM to provide a list of security equipment needed for the match.

Plans of holding the anticipated final hanged in the balance before COAS intervened and stated that terrorists would not be allowed to lower our resolve and that the event would go ahead as planned according to the Inter Services Public Relations.

The army would extend its full support to anyone concerned with holding the PSL final as per schedule.
