Sexual abuse on the rise

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Be it minors or women, over the past two years there has been a rise in sexual violence, both in Pakistan and abroad.11 cases of child abuse are reported every day, and 18 cases of heinous crimes against women are reported every day.

Is this because more people are reporting cases of sexual violence? Or is it thatsexual predators have been encouraged by the lack of action against the criminals preceding them? Regardless, the repetitive news on media regarding such cases has caused much anxiety among the people.
