Sir: Recently, former Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif poked fun at the citizens of Karachi, doing this by targeting the ‘Pan’ eating habit many Karachiites have. He also stated; “We will make Karachi the same as Lahore”. I would like to remind the former CM that Karachi is the biggest contributor to Pakistan’s GDP. In fact, 65 percent of the country’s GDP comes from this city.
Shahbaz Shareef must beg pardon for his unequitable statement, as it was completely uncalled for.
