Rangers intelligence nabs two local PPP leaders in Bheempura

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers intelligence squad arrested two local Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders on Friday from district PS 110 Bheempura of Karachi.

Yousuf Naz, PPP president of the constituency, and Vice Chairman elect of the district Amin Memon were detained at the daybreak and later taken to Metharaam hostel for preliminary investigation.

Naz had previously held the post of Chairman Zakat Committee South, while he has been actively campaigning for Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari in the NA-246 constituency.

Saeed Ghani, President Peoples Party Karachi Wing, has recorded his protest on the uncalled arrest and demanded expeditious release of the members.
