Three cops among six injured in blast

As many as six people, including three policemen, were injured when an explosive device went off in Balochistan’s Naseerabad district late Saturday afternoon in a targeted attack on a police vehicle.

The injured were rushed to Dera Murad Jamali District Headquarters Hospital, the administrative headquarters of Naseerabad district.

An emergency was imposed in the hospital to treat the injured.

Police said that the vehicle was hit in the Manjo Shori area of Naseerabad district while it was on routine patrol, triggering panic in the area.

Police and personnel of other law enforcement agencies cordoned off the blast site and launched an investigation into the incident.
