Deadline for arms licence revalidation extended

In a statement on Saturday, the interim provincial government announced an extension in the deadline for revalidation and computerisation of arms licenses. The new deadline is December 31, 2018.

Interim Home Secretary Suhail Anwar Khan Siyal advised manual arms license holders to have their weapons registered in order to save them from forfeiture and to avoid legal action.

“This is the last chance for revalidation/computerization of manual arms license and there shall be on further extension,” he said.
