Woman dies, four children injured in road crash

KHYBER: A woman died while four children sustained critical injuries on Friday when a car overturned and ploughed into road side during an accident at Paki-Afghan road in Landi Kotal, a town in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Reportedly, a marriage procession was on its way to Niki Khel from Sheikh Mal Khel when a speedy car turned turtle killing a woman identified as w/o Amjad Shinwar on the spot and injuring four children namely Irum, Aman, Nehar and Sudais.

Consequently, the deceased’s body and injured children were shifted to Landi Kotal Hospital for medico-legal formality and medical treatment, respectively.
