Author: Staff Report

The London Institute of South Asia (LISA) headed by Ismat Saeed organized a discussion on book ‘Betrayal of India’ written by Elisa Davidson at the House of Lords, UK.

Other than the author himself, the event was attended by around 100 individuals, majority of them from the Pakistani diaspora.

Lord Nazir Ahmed chaired the session while Lord Qurban and MP Faisal Rasheed were prominent among the participants.

Speaking on the occasion, for senator Barrister Iftikhar threw light on loopholes in the case of Mumbai attack and declared it a drama of the Indian establishment. He said the so-called attack benefited India and the US while Pakistan was the victim of its aftermaths.

The author of the book chronologically proved with references to his research-based evidences that the incident was orchestrated by India and that New Delhi benefitted from it on the international level.

Lord Nazir Ahmed highlighted the negligence of Pakistani political elite and Maj Gen Durrani, then Pakistani national security adviser, in handling the issue. According to him, they benefited India by endorsing their narrative and accepting the responsibility of the incident in haste.
