LAHORE: Former Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Wednesday remarked that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan is an immature politician.

While speaking to the media outside Lahore High Court (LHC) said that Imran has proved to be a novice politician who has never even contested elections for local bodies.

Iqbal criticising Khan, went on saying that  Khan is such a leader that couldn’t even make a decision over the matter of caretaker chief minister.

He went on saying, that Khan’s policies were merely a reflection of instability. Iqbal asserted that to run a country or complete a 5 year term stable policies are needed which is not what Khan has.

The former minister remarked “We can’t hand over the future of two million people in the hands of an inexperienced politician.”

Iqbal claimed that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had strived to establish peace in its tenure when the country was falling under the clutches of terror-incidents and death.

PML-N leader further added that he had utmost respect for the judiciary and was not in competition with it but with the extremist mindset prevailing in the country.
