Wild trailer crushes pedestrian to death in Karachi

KARACHI: A tragic traffic incident on Wednesday claimed a man’s life in Karachi’s Landhi number two area.

According to sources, a trailer crushed the pedestrian to death.

The deceased was identified as Yaseen a printing machine operator at a newspaper.

Sources, stated that the driver lost control of the trailer carrying containers, when it spun into Yaseen standing on the sidewalk.

According to sources, Yaseen was trapped under the trailer for two-long hours as the residents tried to rescue him from underneath the trailer on their own.

The driver and the cleaner fled the scene of the crime.

The deceased’s mother, while talking to the media urged Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the heart-wrenching incident.

She accused the policemen at Murtaza Chowrangi and Landhi number four area of taking money just to let the heavy traffic pass.

The residents, protested the death of Yaseen, taking it to the roads, burning tires. The protesters said that the protests will continue until justice is served.
