Emilia Clarke bids an emotional farewell to ‘Game of Thrones’

Emilia Clarke, who plays the character of Daenerys Targaryen bids farewell to the show after getting done with the production of its last season.

Emilia wrote a post on Instagram, and thanked the show for letting her live the life she had “never dreamed she would be able to live”, further adding that she will “never stop missing the GoT family,” as reported by Daily Mail.

Emilia posted another picture on Instagram while putting on a suede baseball cap and a navy faux-fur hooded coat. The caption of the image said, “Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade.

Even though the production of the show is done, but the show is going to broadcast in 2019.

Previously, Emilia, who was also the female lead in Me Before You, spoke about her character saying, “Right now, I’m sort of feeling – with her – optimistic. She’ll probably need some help, though. I’ll definitely be disappointed if she doesn’t make it,” reported Express.co.

Talking about becoming a fair ruler, Clarke said, “I think that there was always that idea that she would know where she was going to, but the reality is frightening.”

She continued, “I mean, I always believed that Dany had the highest of hopes for what kind of impact she could leave on this world. She is continuously reaching for purest level of ruler-ship — is that a word? I just made it up.”

Speaking about the Iron Throne clashes, Emilia said,  “It will be what none of us think it will be.”

The 31 year old star got emotional while bidding farewell to the show. “It really feels like preparing to leave home… That’s exciting, but it’s sad and scary all at the same time,” said Emilia Clarke.

Game of Thrones (GoT) is an HBO TV show series which is popular among the youth.
