Corruption drives out barkat from a country: Parvez Elahi

Author: Staff Report

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid senior central leader and former deputy prime minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said that corrupt rule drives out “barkat”.

“I request the people to only vote for those who are serving them and avoid those showing them ‘green gardens’,” he said.

While addressing workers at an Eid Milan party, Parvez Elahi further said that if the ruler is corrupt, he will only see his own benefit and not of the people and instead of them be worried about his own future.

Elahi said the way Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz destroyed law and order situation by patronising the criminals is there for everyone to see. Nobody is safe in their own house, shop, office nor on the roads and streets. When the rulers are corrupt, then this is bound to happen. I worked with good intentions and Almighty Allah blessed our projects and programmes with success. With the blessings of Almighty Allah, I succeeded in establishing state of the art university in Gujrat where girls of Gujrat, Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin, Jhelum and Wazirabad are studying. We have a relationship of love and respect with everyone, he said.

He requested the voters to only cast their votes for easily accessible people, so their issues can be conveyed easily and a solution can be sought.

“Our symbol of a tractor represents farmers and workers. PML-Q is committed and determined to work for the welfare and well-being of the people,” he said.
