Among several other places in the city, Hund is one of the many attractive picnic spot in summers situated in the heart of nature, culture and tradition.

To revive its lost fame and glory, the government had taken numerous steps in past to develop the place into a tourist attraction but still lack in maintenance and facilities. There are no proper roads, unavailability of foods and its varieties and improper management.

Despite the problems, in every summer or festival days, the spot is still host to thousands of visitors who come for picnics and to have a relaxing time.

The chilling water of the river bank is the best way to beat the heat. Moreover,  fish is one of the most popular foods for taste buds, while the Hund museum also attracts thousands of visitors each year.
