Couple shot dead seven months after tying the knot

KHAIRPUR: A couple was shot dead on Eid day near Halani, a town of Naushahro Feroze distict in Sindh province.

Reportedly, suspected assailants attacked their house at Makai Village that resulted in the death of Ali Hassan and his wife Subhana Mojai.

Meanwhile, the murderers managed to flee from the scene while the Halani Police transported bodies of the deceased to Halani Hospital for autopsy.

The police sources informed that the couple had contracted love marriage about seven months ago. However, the girls’ parents were not happy with her marriage.

The police have lodged case against six accused murderers.
